As of Thursday, October 15, the commercialization of capacities for all the services offered by the Viajero Company will resume: transportation by National Buses, rail and maritime service to and from Isla de la Juventud, with a sales cycle of 15 days as of October 19.
The National Bus service begins its departures from October 19. The transportation by bus to and from the capital, in a first stage, will be made to the provincial capitals, the rest of the country will maintain the origins and destinations prior to September 14.
For the reservation agencies of Havana, Pinar del Río and Isla de la Juventud, they will be given the option of reintegrating tickets after March 23, 2020 or being able to relocate in new departures according to the existing availability in the reservation plans. For the other provinces, the above is true, but with tickets purchased after September 14. In both cases, a margin of 15 calendar days will be given to carry out this management.
Taking into account the epidemiological situation that the Ciego de Ávila and Sancti Spíritus provinces are going through, no capacities will be offered for these territories. The buses and trains will not make stops at these destinations.
As of October 21, the maritime service will have a frequency of three weekly departures (Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays) in its usual hours and all commercial management related to these services will be assumed in the terminal 26 and Zoo, both the reservation confirmation process such as the Last Hour.
The railway service restarts the transportation of national trains as of October 24, because until that date only special transportation will be carried out.
The Traveling apk will be enabled for all services from October 15. The search for the maritime service will be carried out reflecting origin Nueva Gerona destination Havana, and vice versa. The application will prioritize origin-destination and capacities assigned to localities that are computerized during the sales cycle and in the last 72 hours it will be able to market any section of the route.
