Natural persons may carry out purchase-sale transactions with each other or with other non-owners. In order to carry out this procedure, the presence of both parties in the Livestock Registry is an essential requirement.
• Document accrediting the ownership of the animals object of purchase - sale. (Livestock Registration Certificate)
• Stamp of stamp for a value of $ 5.00 for each animal object of purchase - sale when it is cattle and of $ 10.00 when it is cattle equine.
• Certificate of the state of health and transfer of the animals object of purchase - sale issued by State Veterinary.
• Transit pass in case the animals move outside the demarcation area served by the Livestock Registry.

• Any purchase - sale of livestock between natural persons where the required documents are not complied with is considered void and for this purpose the Livestock Registrars will not grant transit passes or record the change of owner, keeping the animals that are the object of the operation the status legal prior to the act of purchase - sale or transfer.
• In the event that one of the contracting parties is not the owner of large livestock and therefore lacks a Certificate of Livestock Registration, they will present their identity card, Certificate of Land Registration, or authorization from a peasant owner or other owner with land to that the animals graze on their farm, the Livestock Registrar will proceed to deliver the Livestock Registration Certificate.
• $ 10.00 stamp for the new owner.
